Consultant Dermatologist
MBBS, BSc(Hons), MRCP(Derm)
I am a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist working at Barts Health NHS Trusts, the largest NHS Trust, consulting on all aspects of skin disease, leading the paediatric dermatology and contact dermatitis services. I am a member of the Drug and Therapeutics Committee and the Skin Cancer Lead. I am currently establishing a Paediatric Haemangioma service.
Having ranked in the top 5% for my medical degree, and achieving First Class Honours for my BSc, I then went on to complete my Dermatology training at Cambridge University Hospitals. Following this, I undertook an Observership in paediatric dermatology at Stanford University Hospitals, San Francisco and Great Ormond Street Hospitals.
I am actively involved in research, with 3 national awards and over 15 publications in high impact medical journals and co-authoring the national guidelines for vitiligo. I have led clinical trials as a Principal Investigator, edited a textbook, and am currently working towards my Masters in Aesthetics.
I have tutored medical students at Cambridge University, and continues to teach medical students to pursue my passion for medical education. I value my role as a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation.
I consults on all aspects of skin disease in adults and children, including eczema, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, mole checks and skin cancer. I am able to perform skin surgery, consult on cosmetic dermatology and skincare issues.
