Dr Siva Sivappriyan is a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is also Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College Hospital. He completed his specialist training in London at the Royal Free & University College London Hospitals.

His specialist interests include all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology but has special interests in thyroid, pituitary disorders and complex diabetes.

He also an expert on atypical forms of diabetes and also is involved with many kinds of research in diabetes. He is an international expert and speaker on many areas in diabetes and endocrinology. He is also the Royal College tutor and Physicians lead and the governance lead for Maidstone Hospital. He is actively involved with lots of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He has published his work Nationally and internationally.
