Ravi Singh is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively with shoulder and upper limb disorders.

Mr Singh’s practice covers the spectrum of injuries and diseases relating to shoulder and upper limb disorders, including rotator cuff injuries and clavicle fractures to sports related injuries. He is trained in the latest techniques in upper limb surgery including Arthroscopic (Keyhole) stabilisation for recurrent shoulder dislocations and rotator cuff repairs. He also provides treatment for Dupuytren’s contracture, elbow and wrist tendonitis, nerve compressions (eg carpal tunnel syndrome), ganglions and trigger fingers.

Mr Singh works closely with a group of specialists, including Physiotherapists and Radiologists to ensure that this patients receive the treatment that is most appropriate for them.  Non surgical treatment options will always be fully explored first prior to any surgical intervention.

Mr Singh works collaboratively with his patients, ensuring that they are well informed about the treatment options available.

Mr Singh is Chair of his NHS hospital’s Senior Hospital Staff Committee and is an accredited Appraiser regularly undertaking annual reviews of his colleagues’ practice.

He is an active member of the British Shoulder & Elbow Society and the British Orthopaedic Association.
