Lyca health currently have an opportunity for bank mammographers to join us as we launch a brand new service across both our sites. You will benefit from our investment in state of the art equipment in order to deliver high quality mammographic images not only for screening purposes but also as part of one stop clinics.
You will hold a Diploma or degree in radiography and will be registered with the HCPC. You must hold a UK mammographic accreditation certificate.
Good mammographic technique essential with a knowledge and experience of specialised magnification views and stereotactic biopsy.
Previous experience within the private healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
You will need to possess excellent communication skills not only between yourself and your patients but also with other members of the clinical team.
You will need to have a caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
You will need to have good IT skills.
You will need to have knowledge of ionising radiation regulations (IR(ME)R).
