Dr Vimple Bhalani gained her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) qualification in 1996 from Gujarat, India. She served as a General Practitioner in the Indian Army Medical Corps (AMC) for 5 years. Since qualifying as a doctor, Dr Bhalani has gained over 22 years of experience.
Dr Bhalani moved to England in 2003 and spent the next three years furthering her medical knowledge within the Bromley Vocational Training Scheme. In 2006, she became a practising NHS GP and has worked as a GP ever since. She currently serves as Medical Advisory Committee GP Divisional Lead at KIMS Hospitals and LycaHealth Orpington, providing leadership and guidance within the organisation.
Always eager to grow her knowledge, Dr Bhalani obtained her post-graduate degree in Teaching in Primary Care (PGCert) from the University of Westminster in 2016.
Dr Bhalani is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Urdu. She is passionate about improving patient-centred care and promoting self-empowerment. She is an avid practitioner of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, having completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2019.
