Mr. Krissen Chettiar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Darent Valley Hospital and Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup. He specializes in lower limb surgery and trauma reconstruction, with a particular focus on hip and knee replacement, as well as revision surgery. His interests also include young adult hip pathology, trauma care, and enhanced recovery surgery and rehabilitation.

Mr. Chettiar graduated in 2000 from St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College London, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Master’s in Medical Law and Ethics. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented his research both nationally and internationally.

He has completed three Orthopaedic Fellowships: two in joint reconstruction, revision arthroplasty, and young adult hip pathology at Frimley Park Hospital and in Calgary, Canada, and a trauma fellowship at the University of Calgary.
