Dr Anu Obaro

BSc (Hons) MBBS FRCR PhD

Dr Anu Obaro is a Consultant Radiologist and gastrointestinal imaging lead at the Princess Royal University Hospital, part of King’s College Hospital. She trained at St Mark’s — the National Bowel Hospital — completing a prestigious post-CCT fellowship in complex GI imaging. She holds a PhD in CT colonography (CTC), and her work has influenced national and European CTC training standards.

Dr Obaro is highly experienced in imaging colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and perianal fistula, as well as general and acute abdominal radiology, and currently serves as Chair of the Colorectal Subcommittee of the British Society of Gastrointestinal Radiology.
