Dr Nalin Wijesekara is a highly experienced Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine, with over 18 years of consultant-level practice. He currently leads the Diabetes and Endocrinology Department at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.

He graduated from the internationally renowned Karolinska Institute in Sweden and went on to work as a Consultant in major teaching hospitals in Stockholm before moving to the UK in 2014.

Dr Wijesekara is known for his calm and reassuring approach, with a strong focus on clear communication and patient understanding. He adopts a holistic, collaborative style of care, developing personalised treatment plans to support long-term health and wellbeing.
