Dr Sameer Sighakoli is a Consultant Physician specialising in general medicine, diabetes and endocrinology, working at Medway Maritime Hospital since 2017. He has held a number of leadership roles at the hospital, including Patient Safety Lead, Clinical Lead for Diabetes, and currently serves as Audit Lead for the Division of Specialty Medicine. He is also a Deputy Royal College Tutor.

Dr Sighakoli completed his higher specialist training in internal medicine and endocrinology within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery, including specialist placements at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He manages a wide range of general medical and endocrine conditions, with expertise in complex diabetes care and hormonal disorders.

Special Interests
Diabetes in young adults, diabetes mellitus, insulin pump therapy, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, calcium metabolism disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions, hypogonadism, and medical weight management.
