Mr Craig Zhao is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the management of knee arthritis and sports injuries around the knee.

His specialist interests include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, meniscal surgery, cartilage repair, partial knee replacement and total knee replacement surgery. He strives to provide high quality and personalised care for his patients to achieve excellent outcomes.

Mr Zhao completed his basic surgical training in London and undertook his specialist orthopaedic surgical training in in the Kent, Surrey, Sussex Deanery.

He gained significant international experience working in Sydney, Australia, where he specialised in cutting edge technologies of knee replacement surgery, including robotics and personalised knee alignment. He has undertaken fellowships in ACL surgery, meniscal surgery and alignment correction. He has presented and published numerous research projects and is actively involved in orthopaedic education.
