Mr Charles is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in adult hip, knee and foot disorders.

After earning an Honours degree, he qualified as a doctor from UCL Medical School in 2004. He completed his orthopaedic training through the London Deanery and, during this time, also obtained a postgraduate Master’s degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics

Mr Charles was awarded the prestigious Charnley Latta Travelling Scholarship, hen then completed a renowned fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. There, he received advanced training from leading surgeons in hip and knee surgery, while also gaining experience with the latest techniques in foot surgery.

On his return to England, he was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon for Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, and works at both Darent Valley and Queen Mary’s Hospitals.

He is dedicated to higher surgical training, having earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education. He is a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers and also serves as an instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Mr Charles provides an expert and personal service using the best techniques to deliver excellent patient outcome.
