From back pain to muscle strain, deep tissue massages can help to heal and refresh soft tissue. Early intervention is key to reducing the length of treatment you need, which is why getting the therapy you need quickly is important. With sports massage services available at both our Canary Wharf & Orpington clinic you can get the care you need.
You Don’t Need To Be An Athlete
Don’t be fooled by the name, a sports massage isn’t just for people who do sports. Everyday stresses, bad posture and non-sports activities can all contribute to tissue damage – leaving you in pain. Releasing the tension your body holds through a deep tissue or sports massage can help you move freely without aching furthering any injury.
Our dedicated sports massage room is fully equipped for assessment and treatment and our fully trained sports massage therapists have a wealth of experience between them. Having worked in Football clubs and amongst other clinics, our knowledge and experience means we can identify and treat your aches and pains fast.

Do I need a sports massage?
Whether you are an athlete with a sports strain or injury or just a person who’s suffering from the everyday stresses of life, a deep tissue massage is a simple and easy remedy to make you feel a lot better. With lots of benefits, it’s something you should definitely consider.
How long does a sports massage take?
Our sports massages can take between 30 minutes and 60 minutes depending on which package you opt for. Both our regular and luxury packages are available in all durations.
Can a sports massage help with lower back pain?
Yes, a deep tissue massage can help relax your muscles which often become tense from everyday stress and poor posture. By stimulating and relaxing the muscles deep within your core and lower back, you can ease the pain.
Is there a difference between sports massage and deep tissue massage?
Yes, but not as much as you might think. A deep tissue massage can help relieve relatively new strains and knots. This is a treatment that works better on smaller areas of pain. On the other hand, a sports massage is geared more towards a large area or for longer pre-existing problems, often caused due to a sporting activity, hence it’s name. However, our therapists are fully qualified to perform both types and will assess your individual needs before beginning your treatment to determine which will be better for you.
