Regular breast screening is vital to pick up on the early signs of breast cancer, giving patients the best chance of living a long and healthy life. Whilst you may carry out regular self-checks, our breast cancer screening services could spot abnormalities before you would be aware of any issues.

Who is a suitable candidate for breast screening?

  • You are 40 and over
  • You have no symptoms relating to your breast
  • You have not had a mammogram within the last 12 months

If you have symptoms related to your breast, you will not be suitable for breast screening, however you can still access our one stop breast clinic.

Accessing Breast Screening for non-symptomatic patients

Private breast screening is only available if you are paying (self-funding) for your treatment. Private Medical Insurance companies will generally not cover private screening. Please speak to your insurer for advice about your policy.
