Consultant Vascular Surgeon
Mr. Prakash Saha is a highly regarded Consultant Vascular Surgeon based in London, with expertise across vascular conditions affecting both arteries and veins. His specialist focus is using cutting-edge key-hole technologies to treat patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), leg ulceration, varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease and aortic aneurysms.
He trained at Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ Medical School and completed his higher surgical training in London and the South East. Mr Saha has achieved a PhD in Vascular Surgery and has since been awarded a prestigious NIHR Clinical Lectureship at St Thomas’ Hospital, this has allowed him to have extensive training in both endovascular and open techniques for the treatment of the most complex vascular disease.
Mr Saha completed specialist vascular training through a specialist fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, before returning to London to take up his Consultant post. He is actively involved in surgical education, regularly lecturing and training surgeons from around the world. In addition to publishing extensively in the field, he has played a key role in developing innovative technologies aimed at personalising and improving patient care.

He also provides state-of-the-art treatments for venous diseases, such as endovenous therapy and foam sclerotherapy, and has extensive experience in managing complex deep venous conditions,including pelvic venous problems.
As well as his work across his clinical practice, Mr Saha has made significant contributions to Vascular Surgery research authoring over 100 publications, becoming widely recognised as a leading expert in his field.
Outside of work, Mr Saha enjoys a fulfilling personal life as a father of three. He is passionate about tennis and cycling, which help him maintain a balanced lifestyle.
