Miss Annabel Shaw

Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon

MBBS, FRCS

Annabel Shaw qualified from St. George’s Hospital Medical School and was appointed as a consultant general and colorectal surgeon in 2022 at Croydon University Hospital. She specialises in laparoscopic surgery for diseases of the bowel including cancers of the colon and rectum.

Annabel is a JAG-accredited advanced endoscopy practitioner, performing colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and OGD. She carries out endoscopic removal of large polyps of the bowel.

Her other interests include treatment for benign anorectal conditions including haemorrhoids, anal fistula, anal abscesses and anal fissure. She offers various surgical options for treatment of haemorrhoids, anal fistulas and Botox for anal fissures.
