Dr Evangelos Fountzopoulos

Dr Fountzopoulos completed his undergraduate medical studies in 1996 from Georg August Medical School in Germany.  His MD thesis was on the topic of patients who suffer from angina and have normal coronary arteries; (Syndrome X).  Dr Fountzopoulos completed his postgraduate medical training in the UK.

He has a special interest in adult heart disease especially on the topics of ischemic heart disease, arryhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension and heart failure.

He holds memberships of several professional bodies including:  British Cardiovascular Society and British Cardiovascular Interventional Society.

He has strong language skills and as such can speak German and Greek.
