Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon
I am a breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgeon and practice in London and Essex. I look after patients with breast cancer, different types of non-cancer breast conditions, breast lumps, and other breast symptoms. I perform operations for breast cancer, breast reconstruction after removal of cancer, breast lumps, and other conditions, congenital breast defects and abnormalities in the development of breasts, and cosmetic breast procedures.
I did my bachelor’s degree in molecular biology with honours and high distinction from University of Toronto. Then I moved to Scotland to do my undergraduate medical degree, MBChB, with phase 1 distinction from University of Aberdeen. I was selected for National training program in general surgery at East of England deanery where I trained in surgery in North London and Essex. I did my breast surgery training at Cambridge University hospitals and Broomfield hospital in Essex. These are nationally renounced centres for breast cancer treatment.
I was selected for National fellowship training in advanced breast reconstruction techniques at BARTS London by the Royal College of Surgeons. I am a full-time breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgeon at Mid and South Essex NHS Trust.
