To mark this new venture the Beyond Beauty Cosmetic have chosen to support The Katie Piper Foundation. In 2008, model and TV presenter Katie Piper sustained a brutal acid attack – a year later she formed The Katie Piper Foundation. KPF makes it easier to live with burns and scars and aims to deliver a gold standard of intensive burn rehabilitation and scar management for burn survivors in the UK.
Since its launch the Foundation has supported hundreds of people with burn injuries and traumatic scarring, helping them throughout their recovery by providing advice on scar management and enabling access to free specialist treatments such as hair restoration, skin camouflage and make-up, and medical tattooing. In addition, the Foundation has funded specialist burns rehabilitation in France for burn survivors whilst working towards their goal to establish a residential facility here in the UK.
This fantastic charity offers both psychological and cosmetic support to burn survivors making it the perfect charity for Beyond Beauty Cosmetic to support. Both Beyond Beauty Cosmetic and The Katie Piper Foundation are excited about their new relationship and are looking forward to supporting the charity with both further charitable donations and support at events in the future.
