LYCA Health are recruiting for a GP (General Practitioner) to work in their BUPA Health Clinic in Orpington.  

Hours: Full or Part Time hours considered including sessional

Job Summary: Working as part of our team in the BUPA Health centre at our Orpington Clinic you will deliver primary care consultations and health assessments to customers of Bupa Health Clinics in accordance with policies and guidelines, ensuring a high-quality service which delivers high customer satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of health assessments/private GP work onsite/in clinic understanding there may be circumstances where it is necessary to undertake digital assessments via telephone and video
• Undertake clinical work in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice generally accepted within the UK, and within ethical guidelines as suggested by the GMC and defined in Bupa Health Clinics Policies

• Provide private general medical services to individuals seeking a private GP consultation at a convenient time involving a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
• Completing private medical reports and examinations (e.g. Insurance companies) on behalf of the service

• Manage clinical workload from the centre clinical team including taking on additional duties such as supporting the services management of results and deputising for colleagues

Person Specification:

• GMC registered with a licence to practice and on the GP register
• Current experience in general practice with excellent clinical decision-making skills
• Needs to be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Needs to share our passion for patient focused, evidence-based healthcare.
• Committed to the role of the private healthcare sector in the UK; with a strong passion for delivering more affordable healthcare, with better health outcomes, for our customers and patients.
