Dr Richard Campbell practices as a Consultant Rheumatologist in the Bromley and South East London areas. He has specialist experience in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders.
Dr Campbell has carried out academic research at King’s College London. His NHS practice is with King’s College NHS Trust where he is part of a well-respected rheumatology department. His primary NHS work is with King’s Bromley where he is site lead for rheumatology (Orpington Hospital and the Princess Royal University Hospital). At a specialist clinic at King’s College Denmark Hill, he sees and assesses rheumatology cases with Lupus and Connective Tissue diseases.
Dr Campbell has published original research in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis, fatigue in autoimmune arthritic disorders and in inflammatory muscle diseases. He has presented nationally and internationally in his field. He actively participates in undergraduate medical students and junior doctors at King’s College London. He is teaching lead for the local postgraduate musculoskeletal teaching program for GPs. He actively supports local patient support groups and regularly gives educational presentations at their meetings.
