Consultant General Surgeon
As a consultant colorectal surgeon, Mr Neil Kukreja has a particular interest and expertise in treating bowel cancer and screening for bowel cancer. His practice is focused on minimally invasive techniques as well as advanced treatments utilising robotic technology.
In addition to laparoscopic surgery Mr Kukreja has extensive experience of diseases of the anus, including ultrasound-guided treatment of haemorrhoids (THD), management of complex fistula disease including the use of fistula plugs and pilonidal sinus surgery.
Mr Kukreja manages the surgical diagnosis and surgical problems associated with inflammatory bowel disease and works closely with the gastroenterologists to provide a joined up approach. He is a JAG accredited endoscopist and can perform both upper and lower GI endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy). His general surgical practice includes the management of hernias and gallstones (laparoscopic cholecystectomy).

He is well aware of the uncomfortable and embarrassing nature of the conditions he treats, and cares very much about putting his patients at ease, and making them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible throughout their patient experience.
