Noa Pearlman

Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy

Noa is a physiotherapist from Israel who completed her bachelor degree in physiotherapy in 2015. She has since worked in a number of clinical settings, in Israel and within the UK (Herzog Hospital, Oxford Centre for Enablement, Oxphysio Private Practice). These settings included musculoskeletal, respiratory, neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation, as well as psychiatry. Noa has worked with a variety of age groups, including toddlers, children, and the elderly.

Noa is also doing her MSc degree in paediatric physiotherapy at University College London. She aims to specialize in the paediatric field, treating children and adolescents suffering from neurological, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Noa believes in incorporating the patients’ perceptions and routine into the treatment planning process, in order to help them reach their optimal physical abilities. She further believes that in order for the rehabilitation process to succeed, the patients must fully understand the logic behind their injury and/or condition, as well as the different steps within the rehabilitation process. For this, she might incorporate pilates ‘mind & body’ exercises, in addition to different functional ones. Noa also enjoys using ‘hands-on’ physiotherapy, with the belief that it has a positive impact on the patients’ psychological & emotional health, as well as the actual physical condition.
