Neurology Consultant



Michael Rose became a neurology consultant in 1996 neurology at King’s College Hospital and at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich. He completed his specialist training at a number of hospitals including Atkinson Morley’s Hospital, the National Hospitals for Neurology, Queen Square, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and the Royal London Hospital. He is interested in trying to get to the bottom of unexplained neurological symptoms, headaches and blackouts. He also specialises in muscle disease and myasthenia.

Michael runs general neurology clinics at Queen Elizabeth Hospital seeing patients with a wide range of problems including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and headaches. He has established a First Seizure clinic at the hospital and helped set up a muscle disease clinic at King’s College Hospital. He is heavily involved in research and has published books and papers on neurology and muscle disease.
