Fred Manning




Fred Manning is a young, friendly and dynamic physiotherapist with an interest in the latest evidence based techniques and treatments. Having completed his physiotherapy training at Keele University, graduating in 2012 he began working as a Senior Physiotherapist in an outpatient clinic setting treating a wide range of patients and conditions along with working privately with a couple of athletics and triathlon clubs treating both casual participants and national level athletes. He has attended and completed a number of courses relevant to his profession to further extend his practice.

Fred is a fully trained member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and incorporates this into his practice. He has also recently returned to complete a postgraduate Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. His thesis project is investigating the biomechanical and muscular variation in running following the transition off the bike during a duathlon/triathlon for which he hopes will be published.

Fred’s clinical Interests are: Sports injury management and rehabilitation of all kinds with a keen interest in lower limb injuries around the foot/ankle and knee from running, cycling and multi-sport events. Taking patients from the early stages of injury and returning them to their desired functional/sporting level. Biomechanical assessment of activity and re-education.
