Dr Abbi Lulsegged is a Consultant in General Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes. He qualified from Guys and St Thomas Medical Schools in London and went on to study Diabetes and Endocrinology in the Royal Free, University College London and St Thomas Hospital. He works at Kings College Hospital and has practising privileges at The Sloane Hospital, Chelsfield Park Hospital and Blackheath Hospital. He enjoys all manner of general Endocrinology and as a special interest in unexplained medical conditions, obesity, fatigue and reversing or promoting resolution of type 2 diabetes in amenable cases. He has an interest in Nutrition and addressing where possible, the root cause of problems.

He developed the Endocrine service at Bromley when he was appointed a Consultant in 2006 and worked closely with allied professionals to make into a busy, thriving practice. He led on the production of guidelines on the management of vitamin D deficiency which then served a population of over 1 million people.

He has been awarded clinical excellence points and made a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in recognition of his work. He has lectured widely and to diverse groups, both nationally and Internationally. He was selected to write examination questions for the Royal College of Physicians. He was also asked to talk at an All Parliamentary group on Diabetes in the Houses of Parliament on the subject of reversing type 2 diabetes. He was invited to appear on a BBC Television program on the subject of preventing diabetes which received one of the highest viewer ratings.
