We are now in the process of recruiting a Reception staff/administrator, experienced in excellent customer service skills and ideally with a healthcare background to work in our 5* Outpatient Canary Wharf clinic.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a flexible and positive attitude, and have a desire to facilitate the delivery of top quality customer service, patient triaging and clinic administration.

Job description:

You will provide a 5* front of house service encompassing day to day receptionist and administrative duties.

The role will primarily involve answering all queries and phones call by email/call, booking in patients, scheduling appointments with consultants and in-house partners.

Shift Patterns: Monday – Sunday – Clinic is open 08:00 – 20:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome all patients, visitors and staff to the main reception area

Provide general (site specific) information, responding to all queries in a timely manner

Dealing with enquiries in a friendly and professional manner at all times

Assist in patient chaperone service as necessary on request

Accurate registration and update of patient details on the relevant practice management systems

Advising doctors/consultants when the patient is ready to be seen (by use of buzzing system)

Booking appointments correctly and accurately for all type of appointments requested

Scanning patient records to relevant systems as required

Ensure all lab samples are collected according to scheduled collection times

Skills and Experience:

Good general education with GCSE at C or above, or equivalent, in English and Mathematics.

Intermediate/advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, Outlook or equivalent

Experience in medical administration and office management or reception duties

Proven ability to work flexibly and accurately with changing priorities and deliver a confidential and high quality customer-focused service.

Excellent, clear and concise patient liaison phone manor
