Russell Kesley




Russell Kesley trained at St Georges in London graduating in 2006 and has 11 years experience of working in the musculoskeletal field. He is currently on his way obtaining his masters in Physiotherapy MACP in his spare time. He spent 2 months in New Zealand working at Cape Physiotherapy in Havelock North.

Russell has worked with elite sportsmen and women with London Scottish Football Club and currently as the head physio for Blackheath Rugby Club.

Russell worked at Headley Court and other bases whilst a locum for the services over 5 years, developing an understanding of weekend warriors (runners, triathletes, cyclists and the need for patients to take on self-preventative measures to reduce the risks of injury. Through understanding how our daily routines impact our movement patterns through questioning and observation a patient is often able to reduce the risk of injury and in many cases enhance performance.

Russell also practices dry needling and is physiotherapeutic acupuncturist.

Russell is a keen cyclist, taking part in the Clock to the Rock cycle this year in aid of charity, a ride of 1233 miles to Gibraltar. He has an interest in rugby, cycling, running and rowing having played rugby semi-professionally and taken up rowing at tender age of 40 to participate in the Head of River Race.
