Mark Phillips is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hand and wrist surgery. He qualified as a doctor in Cambridge in 1989 before completing basic surgical training and a research post at the Royal Free Hospital. He then completed orthopaedics and trauma specialist training on the King’s College Hospital rotation and undertook two fellowships. One was in hand surgery in the Plastic Surgical Department at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, and the second was at the University of Pisa in Italy and was in fracture reconstruction.

Mark has worked as an NHS consultant for 14 years including 12 at King’s College Hospital in London. He now works solely in the private sector. His specialist knowledge of hand and wrist surgery and fracture healing has seen him lecture at meetings all over the world.
